The gen7pets Geometric Wheeled Carrier takes the hassle out of traveling with a cat by giving your cat two convenient ways to get around: on its back or by rolling next to you. The sturdy luggage rack has two cargo doors on the front and zippered pockets on the sides. There is a handle at the top of the bag for quick lifting and four wheels at the bottom. Soft, machine-washable sherpa mats attach to the base and back of the interior with Velcro.
In backpack mode, this carrier has two adjustable shoulder straps that attach to D-rings on the bottom of the back. It takes just seconds to convert the bag to rolling mode by unfastening the backpack straps, placing it in its storage pocket, and pulling on the suitcase’s telescoping handle. I was surprised to find that despite the large pack’s size and weight, it was just as comfortable on my back as the other packs I tried. its padded straps were easy to adjust and it didn’t bounce against my lower back.
The backpack is also comfortable to carry on the back or side. occasionally it slipped on a rock or stick, but most of the time it moved smoothly on sidewalks, pavement, and ramps. For the cat’s rolling comfort, the bag has a “smart level pad” to change the angle of the carrier’s base.
The front mesh panels of the geometric wheeled backpack can be rolled down for easy feeding and watering, and an inside leash can be used to prevent your cat from escaping. Although there are seatbelt straps on the back, this carrier has not been third-party tested and should not be used.
in tests, this backpack proved to be durable. the stomp test reshaped the internal wire frame, but I was able to snap it back into place in less than a minute. In the scratch test, the luggage rack mesh showed no signs of tearing and the cargo door closed without a problem. The goo I smeared on the bag wiped off easily, leaving just a small patch of discoloration, and the interior mat came out of the washer looking like new.
The large carrier was very roomy and comfortable for my cats, but at 6.8 pounds, it was a bit heavy to carry with the plastic handle on top. it is also too large to fit under the seat in the cockpit of an airplane, just like the smaller version of the aircraft carrier. while it may seem too bulky to some, its size, shape, and versatility make frequent trips with a cat practical and comfortable for both of you.
